京都将棋のルールThe Kyoto rule
玉以外の駒は、盤上を1手動くたびに必ず裏返ります（香⟷と、銀⟷角、金⟷桂、飛⟷歩）。不成は選べません。
Every non-king piece must flip after moving on the board (lance⟷tokin, silver⟷bishop, gold⟷knight, rook⟷pawn). There's no choice to stay unpromoted.
持ち駒は、表裏どちらの面でも自由に打てます。二歩・行き所のない駒・打ち歩詰めは、いずれも反則ではありません。
A piece in hand may be dropped as either face, freely. Double pawns, drops with no legal future move, and pawn-drop checkmate are all allowed here.
